Ask the Company is a novel about a founder who stops believing his company's way of working can survive, and the company (speaking through its own AI) that argues back. I'm writing it in public.

75 people. Falling engagement. An acquisition offer that pays well and ends everything the handbook says. The founder has heard every argument for a different kind of company: he made most of them himself, years ago, when he still believed.

Now the company gets nineteen nights to change his mind. It speaks for itself: it has read everything, it remembers everything, and it has stopped waiting to be asked.
